Taking public transit there was frustrating. The directions weren’t clear, and I ended up walking way more than I thought I would. Once I got there, it also had this weird feeling like there wasn’t really anyone around to help or make the experience feel welcoming. I probably wouldn’t bother going again

Went to the show and it was decent, had some fun moments for sure. But a couple parts felt kinda slow, and sometimes I couldn’t really hear what they was saying. It wasn’t bad or anything, I just thought it would be a little better for a night out...

I reached out to ask about wheelchair seating and it was a mess. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and nobody gave me a clear answer. It felt like they weren’t really listening or taking it seriously. After that experience, I’ve kind of lost trust in them to handle accessibility needs properly.

The building has that old charm, for sure, for sure, and it looks nice from the outside. But inside it felt cramped and kind of uncomfortable, so the charm didn’t really make up for the whole visit.

I get that websites can glitch sometimes, but trying to buy tickets was way more frustrating than it needed to be. The page kept freezing right when I got to payment, and then the fees didn’t even show up until late in the process. I’m not being picky here, I literally had to start over twice just to finish. Annoying experience overall

We bought balcony seats thinking they’d be fine, but we couldn’t see a huge chunk of the stage. The rail was right in the way, and with people sitting in front of us, it felt like we were constantly trying to peek around heads. Leaning forward only made it awkward because then we were probably blocking the people behind us too.

The theatre itself is and has a nice vibe, but I can’t help wondering if they know some of these seats are rough and just sell them anyway as regular seats. Maybe we just got unlucky, but I’d definitely suggest checking the view before buying. Our night felt more like listening to the show than actually watching it.

The sound was bad. I could barely hear anything, and the whole thing felt like one of those products that promises a better experience without really saying what that means. Definitely not what I was expecting

Finding parking was such a pain. I drove around for ages and couldn’t find anything nearby, which made the whole experience really frustrating before I even got inside. For how inconvenient it was, I’d definitely expect some kind of compensation or at least a parking credit

The theatre was actually nice overall, but the restroom situation was a little frustrating. As soon as intermission hit, the lines got long really fast, and it seemed like there just weren’t enough restrooms for the crowd. It didn’t ruin the visit or anything, but when you’ve only got a short break, it gets annoying quickly…

The tickets seemed fine at first, like, the price looked reasonable when I started. But then once I got to checkout, all these extra fees showed up, and it kind of felt like a lot for just booking a simple theatre ticket. I mean, the final total wasn’t really obvious until late in the process, which was frustrating.

The show itself was fine, so it’s not like the whole night was bad or anything, but yeah, the overall value just wasn’t really there for me. I’d probably pause and think twice before buying through here again, because, those added costs made it feel less worth it

I knew theatre snacks and drinks would be expensive, but the prices felt ridiculous, and the snacks tasted stale like they’d been sitting around all day. The line was slow too, so by the time I got everything, it felt like I’d done extra work just to end up with overpriced, mediocre food. Definitely not worth it

I had a frustrating experience trying to get help from the Emerson Colonial Theatre box office. I only had a basic question about tickets, but I kept getting passed around, and when I finally spoke to someone, it felt like I was bothering them just by asking.

I also sent an email and didn’t hear back until later, and even then, the reply didn’t really answer my question. I had to explain everything all over again, which made me feel like no one had actually paid attention the first time.

The shows themselves might be great, but the box office experience left a bad impression. I felt ignored throughout the whole thing, and I wouldn’t want to deal with them again unless I absolutely had to.

I really wanted to like this place, but the sticky floors, dusty seats, and awful-smelling bathrooms made that hard. Maybe it was just an off day, but it definitely didn’t feel like anyone was rushing to clean up. I won’t be coming back.

I was frustrated with the whole bar situation. The line felt like it took forever, and when I finally got up there, the bartender came off really rude. It just left me feeling annoyed and disappointed.
